Helping young people experience a career before committing to it.
UpClose is a human-led, AI-supported academic concept for Singapore-based young people aged approximately 16–26: school students exploring pathways, university students considering internships and graduate roles, and early-career professionals evaluating alternatives.
Privacy & safeguarding
Intended service commitments, not live operational features.
- Conversations would not be recorded by default. Any recording-based quality review would require informed consent.
- Funding companies would not receive individual student answers or private reflections.
- Career interests would not be shared with employers without an appropriate, clearly explained consent process.
- Corporate partners would receive aggregated programme participation and outcome reports.
- Students retain control over their career decisions; AI supports rather than replaces human judgement.
- Professional verification, secure account storage and safeguarding systems are proposed, not live in this prototype.
- For users aged 16–17, we plan age-appropriate safeguards, including parental consent and supervised session settings.
- A clear concern-reporting process is planned, not operational.
- This prototype keeps onboarding answers only in this browser tab's session. Sample tasks and feedback are temporary and are not sent to a mentor or stored in an account.
